1. Who controls your data

pickiebet.com is operated by PUNTAA PTY. LTD., a proprietary limited Australian company (ABN 56 601 575 240) ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for personal information collected through the website and your account. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

3. What we collect

  • Identity information: name, date of birth, residential address.
  • Contact details: email, phone.
  • Government-issued ID details for verification (Australian Driver Licence, Medicare card or current Australian Passport).
  • Account information: username, password hash, security questions.
  • Transaction information: deposits, withdrawals, bets, settlements.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, device, browser.
  • Location information sufficient to confirm you are in Australia.
  • Communications with our support team.

  • To open, operate and secure your account.
  • To verify your identity and age (KYC).
  • To process deposits and withdrawals.
  • To comply with AML/CTF obligations under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth).
  • To meet responsible gambling obligations and operate responsible gambling tools.
  • To check applicants and customers against BetStop and our self-exclusion records.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, collusion and unlawful activity.
  • To meet regulatory reporting obligations to the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission, AUSTRAC and other authorities.

5. Identity verification and KYC

We verify your identity using documents you provide and approved identity verification providers. Failure to complete verification may result in account suspension or closure.

6. Payment processing

Payment information is processed by licensed payment service providers. We do not store full card numbers. We retain only the information needed to manage your account and meet legal obligations.

7. AML/CTF checks

We monitor accounts and transactions for money laundering and terrorism financing risks, including source of funds and source of wealth checks. We may report to AUSTRAC where required.

8. Responsible gambling checks

We use your account activity to operate responsible gambling tools, identify risk indicators and, where appropriate, contact you.

9. BetStop and self-exclusion checks

We check applicants and existing customers against BetStop and our internal self-exclusion records.

10. Fraud prevention

We use information to detect fraud, chargebacks, multi-accounting, bonus abuse and other prohibited conduct.

11. Regulatory reporting

We disclose information to regulators, law enforcement and courts where required by law, including the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission, AUSTRAC, the Australian Federal Police and integrity bodies for sport and racing.

12. Marketing and opt-out

With your consent we may send marketing about our products. You can opt out at any time through your account or by emailing privacy@pickiebet.com. We do not send marketing to self-excluded customers or customers listed on BetStop.

14. Third-party service providers

We share personal information, only as needed, with service providers such as identity verification, payment, hosting, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention and communications providers. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We never sell your personal information.

15. Data security

Personal information is stored on Australian-based servers and protected by encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it to perform their duties.

16. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may be located overseas. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Recipient countries are likely to include the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and Singapore, depending on the provider (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, fraud prevention and identity verification services).

17. Data retention

We retain account and wagering information for a minimum of 7 years from your last transaction, as required by AUSTRAC and the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission. Marketing data is deleted within 12 months of your last interaction or earlier on request.

18. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by emailing privacy@pickiebet.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

19. Privacy complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact privacy@pickiebet.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

20. Children

Pickie is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
